REGISTRATION PROBLEMS
Lately, there have been a number of Alumni registering on the website and only submitting their email address for contact information. Well, that's fine if they happen to be in the Federal Witness Protection Program but it's creating a huge problem. A number of these same people are requesting help for forgotten passwords. This request comes through the website system and it does not give us their return email address - only the one on file. If the one on file is no longer used or mis-entered at the beginning, we are unable to contact them. Reunion committees are also requesting additional contact information because they are getting large numbers of emails bounced back because anti-spam software is blocking reunion notices.
We assume the reason Alumni register on the website is because they want to be contacted. Please make it a little less difficult and fill out all the contact information. You can still block any information from other alumni by un-checking the box next to the specific field. This is a private website without ads or banners. Your information will never be sold or shared with any outside person or organization.
We have been receiving some complaints regarding the time it takes for the approval process. Each and every request for access to the website is processed by hand. The information in the registration application is verified against our records to make sure you are you and that you attended LGHS. The more information you provide, the faster we can serve you.
If you have any requests that haven't been addressed within 7 days, please email lghsalum@hotmail.com or call Dan or Chris. (contact info on home page)
