MEMBERSHIP PROCESS CHANGE

All Alumni.

First let me take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in the Alumni Website. We were hoping to have around 750 members by our 1 year anniversary in June and we almost doubled that at 1,215. As of Feb 1, 2008 we have 2,808 registered members, way ahead of our predictions! Congratulations!!!

Due to the success of the site we need to offset a portion of our expenses. Effective in March  2007 you will have the ability to help offset these expenses. We will be charging a minimal amount for access to the site to begin with and a 3 tier schedule is our goal. Subscription benefits include unlimited access to the site, a periodic newsletter and membership to the Alumni Association. A small amount of funds goes toward expenses (like the web hosting) and the vast majority is donated back to the school via grants, scholarships and special projects on campus that public funds won't cover. Check out the "On Line Giving" tab on the home page for straight donations, so much is needed.

ALL ALUMNI REQUESTING ACCESS WILL BE SUBJECT TO A PAID MEMBERSHIP AS OF MARCH 1, 2007. ALL CHARTER MEMBERS FROM THE OLD SYSTEM WHO HAVE ALREADY PAID MEMBERSHIP DUES WILL AUTOMATICALY HAVE ACCESS FOR THE DURATION OF THEIR SUBSCRIPTION. WE INVITE YOU TO CONTRIBUTE NOW!

P.S. Other reunion type websites like Classmates.com, are public access websites for profit and charge $60.00 per year. Ours is private without restrictions, banners, ads or pop-ups. This is actually your school site. So join us.
